Our Purposes
The following information focuses our thoughts and actions as a Christian community. Our Purpose Statement helps us to measure how we are doing as a church and our Five Purposes are drawn from this. The statements under our Five Purposes outline our unique church culture. Our Vision Statement acts as a summary. Our goals for 2010 are self-explanatory!
Our Purpose Statement reads...
To bring people to Jesus and membership in His family,
develop them to Christ-like maturity
and equip them for their ministry in the church
and their life mission in the world,
in order to magnify God’s name.
Our Five Purposes are...
- Worship
Giving God our all in everything we do - Fellowship
Getting people connected through building strong relationships and community - Evangelism
Going out, sharing our faith through love, words and justice - Discipleship
Growing people through relevant teaching, mentoring and releasing - Ministry
Giving people opportunities to serve, using their gifts and abilities
Our Vision Statement reads...

Our Goals for 2010 are...
1. Establish a stronger house of prayer
2. Every small group becoming mission-based
3. Everyone becoming confident in their witness and personal mission
4. Development of discipleship
