Kadesh
Kadesh is an alternative education provider for students who find mainstream education difficult for a variety of reasons. Based in the classroom at the Diss Centre, Kadesh is run by a member of DC3 and has already helped a number of young people to gain confidence and direction, as well as qualifications.
Kadesh has built up a very good reputation with local schools and education authorities and is currently applying for Independent Schools status.
An important dimension of the curriculum at Kadesh is the Kadesh Farm Project. Students have the opportunity to be involved in growing vegetables and keeping goats, pigs, cows, chickens and ducks, as well as learning about business enterprise.
It is envisaged that the farm project will also benefit our wider community in many ways and bring lots of people together in a worthwhile enterprise.
