Age 11 - 15
We want DC3 youth to forge strong friendships with each other, to be well supported as they live for Jesus among their non-Christian friends, and to find and unleash their gifts both inside and outside the church. As David Cunliffe, our youth leader says, ""At DC3 you will be made welcome, be included, and will have lots of fun".
Sundays
Youth Groups meet in Diss and Harleston for a time of teaching, learning and fun after the joint worship. They are for young people in Years 7-9.
Youth Small Groups
These groups meet on Tuesday evenings and are run on the 'Prayer, Share and Care' theme used by all DC3 small groups.
In Diss a group meets in the Diss DC3 Lounge from 6.15 - 7.30pm. This is primarily for Years 7, 8 and 9.
In Harleston a group for Years 7-10 meets at the Jay's Green Centre from 7.30 - 9.00pm. This will include a time of teaching during the evening.
Sunday Night Youth Worship
Youth from Harleston and Diss can come together in DC3 Diss for worship, prayer and teaching, 7.15 - 9.15pm. The age range is 11-25 years old.
Youth Football
This happens when young people are at school from September - the end of April on a Friday from 5.30 - 6.30pm at DC3 Diss for years 7, 8, & 9 at High school.
Youth Cafe
This operates between 7.30 and 9.45pm in DC3 Diss on most Friday nights, between September to April. Youth can come and chill out, play games or sports and listen to music.
Events and Camps
DC3 is connected to Integrate Youth for Christ - a local network that brings young Christians together. Sometimes we meet up locally, sometimes we go to big events as a big group. It means that each year our young people are able to attend activities that may include:
- The Ultimate Event @ Alton Towers
- SNOCCASH (South Norfolk Christian Camp At Sizewell Hall)
- Rave in the Nave @ Ely Cathedral
- Soul Survivor
We have also taken groups to Spring Harvest and held gigs at our Diss Centre.
